2009 Request for Proposals

FUNDING AVAILABLE FOR U-M MULTIDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH PROJECTS

M-CASTL announces the availability of funding to support research projects related to the Center's theme of "Safety and Mobility throughout the Lifespan." M-CASTL invites proposals that address the Center’s 2009 priority research topic:

• Supporting the transition from driving to non-driving to ensure the safe mobility of older adults

Funding is available to all U-M academic and research faculty. The total funding available under this Request for Proposals (RFP) is $200,000. The maximum award is $67,000 per project. A letter of intent is due by May 18, 2009, with proposals due June 15, 2009 (send to m-castl@umich.edu). Funding for awarded projects will begin September 15, 2009. The focus of the Center is multidisciplinary and all U-M departments/units are encouraged to explore funding opportunities through this offering.
